Hello USSD Parents,

We have a lot of exciting things happening this month, including our Leopard Seminar on Feburary 18th, 2012.  Make sure to stay posted for more information.

Tiny Tigers – We continued this week with lots of sparring stuff for our little ones.  Sparring is essential for the 3-6 year old class.  It teaches them how does a fight feel like, without of course the element of intent.  It helps them react faster, think faster, and it is a great work out.

Teen Dragons – For this week we worked with our Teens on their forms.  Forms are important for them to remember.  It is an ease way for a Martial Artist to practice several techniques without having to think of each one.  Think of a form as a set patter, or a dance, once you have done it a couple of times, you get more than just the steps.

Adults – We worked knife defenses this time.  Knife techniques are dangerous, and that is why we use rubber knifes to practice.  A knife can be anything ranging from a real blade to maybe even a common pen.  Everyone should already know Stabbing Knife #1, and if you don’t, go immediately to the Student Resources section to have it covered.

Thank you everyone for your time and support, and see you at the Seminar!
