About the Storm team
The Special Team of Role Models is a leadership team from Mission West. It’s dedicated into creating the future Senseis of the academy.
If you are interested in buidling your leadership skills, STORM is for you. This team is a special selection from Mission West that teaches young students as early as age 10 and at least purple belt level (or anyone specially invited/sponsored by a Senior Sensei) to joing the trainig of future insturctors.
What you will get once you are in

what it takes to be a member
The benefits are great, but commitment to your team is expected. The following are the minimum requirements during your STORM training:
- Attend all STORM training classes – Saturdays at 12:45 (immediately after sparring class) until 1:30pm. Absences up to 3 times may be allowed with prior notice.
- Continued high attendance to regular martial arts classes.
- Help teach at least once a week (or similar depending on scheduling).
- Continue your training for at least 6 months, including sparring, grappling and weapons training.
- Testing for Red/white, red/black and red belts.
- Additional $25 per month on your tuition.
- Must be at least 10 years of age and have the level of Purple Belt or above (unless specifically invited by a Senior Sensei)
Join the next try outs
On Friday June 25th, 2021 at 5:30pm. Try outs will last about an hour. Must wear full uniform and bring sparring gear.
